Nuthall Cricket Club... an ambitious yet small, friendly family oriented club welcomes you to their website.

This season we will be playing in Division E of the South Notts Cricket League on Saturdays and in Division 6 of the Newark Alliance on Sundays.  We are a diverse club of varying backgrounds, ages and abilities but we all have one thing in common... we like to get out there and enjoy our cricket while doing our best to win something along the way.  Promotion is at the forefront of our minds for this coming season.

Home games are played at the Basil Russell Playing Fields on Maple Drive around the corner from the Three Ponds pub. For directions to the ground follow the link in the menu on the left.  After the game we retire for the evening to the beer garden of The Stag Inn where all visiting teams are made welcome by Karen and her staff.

We will shortly be moving our net practise outside to our own ground at Basil Russell on Tuesday evenings from 6pm. Please keep an eye on the website for updates. This winter we have received some expert advice to improve the playing surface and this has been put to good use with joint efforts from the club and Nuthall Parish Council.  From the look of things the efforts put in so far are being rewarded and our thanks go out to the ground staff for their tireless work throughout the year...

Although we are always on the lookout for players of any age we are specially keen to generate interest from younger players in the area.  With enough interest we will be able to start a team for our younger members so if you fit this group and want to be playing cricket on a regular basis we want to hear from you. A second team in the South Notts League is also a target for us.
