Welcome to the website of Nuthall Cricket Club.

It was a long hard season and there were times we didn't have it all our own way and despite a few slip ups the target of consolidating a mid table position or better during 2007 was achieved. The weather conspired against everyone and hopefully we'll get closer to fulfilling all fixtures during 2008.

The Saturday side are looking forward to a very challenging 2008 in Division E with Rod and Richard steering us hopefully towards more success, and of course the Sunday side face up to their usual difficult challenge in Div 4 of the Newark Alliance under the fresh guidance of Mick and Paul. Good luck to you both and good luck to both sides throughout the new season.

We have some new faces in the club this year so welcome to you all. Please take a moment to look at the player profiles under the Players link on the left.  We're only asking you to do one small job... Complete a profile for yourself by the end of April and mail it to the club address (nuthallcc@btinternet.com) else the editors of this website will make you feel most welcome by creating our own profiles for you, and we don't hold back! All in the best interests of fun you understand.

If you are new to this site, new to cricket or just in need of a different challenge at a new club why not come along to our nets that how now started on Sunday mornings at the John Birch Sports Center from 11.00am.  When the weather improves (???) we will move nets to Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm at the Basil Russell playing fields off Maple Drive. Spectators are always welcome so why not join us, have a hot beverage and a chat with the players. Games normally start at 1.30pm throughout the season.
